Save orphaned and injured wildlife in honor of someone you care about, or in memory of someone you've lost. Appalachian Wildlife Refuge offers a variety of meaningful ways that pay tribute to your loved ones while saving wildlife in need at the same time.
Tribute donations are a great way to celebrate a birthday or holiday, to mark a milestone or special occasion, or just to let someone know you are making a difference in their name! Just select the "I would like to dedicate this donation" option on AWR's donation form, and a special letter and personalized certificate will be mailed to the person you've chosen to honor!
Whether you've lost a friend, relative, or beloved pet, making a donation in memory of someone special you've lost is a meaningful way to keep their memory alive and to make a difference saving wildlife in need. Just select the "I would like to dedicate this donation" option on AWR's donation form, and indicate if you'd like a notification mailed to you or someone else.
A fun way to honor the young and young at heart! Symbolically adopt a wild one in honor of someone you care about, and they'll receive a plush animal, display folder, photo of a real animal saved by AWR, and a personalized certificate showing an animal has been adopted in their name!
Our hearts go out to anyone who has recently lost a loved one. If you'd like to do something special that will continue to make an impact, ask for a donation to Appalachian Wildlife Refuge in lieu of flowers at the memorial service. A simple line added to the obituary that reads, "In lieu of sending flowers, please make a contribution to help save orphaned and injured wildlife Appalachian Wildlife Refuge at www.appalachianwild.org" will make a profound impact that honors the person you have so tragically lost. Feel free to reach out to Development Coordinator, Kerri Conrad at email@example.com with any questions.
